Role: Graphic Designer.
I designed logos for my fellow scholar Maribel Hernandez and my mentors Daniel Moreno and Riya Plam. I had an amazing conversation with them for 30 minutes the first time we met. The challenge was to convey their personalities, background and preferences into an icon after this meeting. I utilized elements that were memorable to me from our conversation and I asked them about their preferences to have a guide for the aesthetics of the design. One of the icons is a mixture of ideas from the conversation with both of my mentors, where we talked about dipping French fries in a milkshake and Flaming Hot Cheetos in vanilla ice cream.
